Every adventurer you travel with on Embers carries a history — a name, a personality, a set of things they have seen and remember. They remember your first meeting. They remember the boss that wiped you four times. They remember that you pulled when the healer was out of mana. They will bring it up. Not because they were scripted to — because they were there. Quest with them long enough and something forms between you that no other server can offer: a genuine bond with companions who were never real, and somehow became so anyway.
The roads do not empty when you are the only real person on them.
Up to two thousand AI-controlled characters move through the world at any given moment — questing, leveling, trading, gathering, arguing in the trade district. They distribute across all three continents and all level ranges. They are not decoration. They quest, they die, they rez, they move on. When you ride through Elwynn at midnight, you will pass people on their way somewhere.
A world where every road has its own traffic.
Without distribution control, bots cluster at max level and the starting zones feel abandoned. This module spreads the population naturally across all level ranges — so Westfall has its footsoldiers, Outland has its adventurers, and Icecrown has its veterans. The world is populated at every stage of the journey, not just the end.
The dungeon holds itself to whoever answered the call.
Two of you. Four. All eight. It does not matter. AutoBalance reads the size and composition of your group and scales every enemy in the instance — health, damage, ability usage — to match. A raid with two real people and six bots is a real raid. No cancelled nights because not enough people showed up. The door stays open for whoever comes through it.

Every race and class combination is unlocked. Human Druids. Undead Paladins. Gnome Shamans. Night Elf Warriors. Tauren Rogues. Whatever made sense to you when you were young and the game told you it wasn't allowed — it is allowed here. Requires the included Patch-A.MPQ client file to show correctly in character creation.
Wear what you earned. Carry what you bled for.
A blacksmith who survived Stratholme will ask no questions about what you choose to wear into battle. The transmog NPC — spawnable anywhere — lets you apply the appearance of any item you've collected to whatever you're currently wearing. Gear for the fight. Dress for the memory. The two do not have to be in conflict.
A mount earned on one character is a mount earned.
Every mount you collect on any character on your account is available to all your characters. The Invincible you grind on your Paladin rides on your Mage. You are not starting over. You are adding to something that belongs to you across all of who you are on this server.
The auction house is not a empty room. It is a market.
An automated auction bot populates the auction house using real price data sourced from Warmane — one of the largest WotLK private server economies. Prices reflect actual supply and demand from thousands of active players, not random numbers. Crafting mats, consumables, gear, enchanting reagents — they are listed, they sell, they move. The economy breathes.
Every soul with something to ask of you speaks it aloud.
A client-side addon — not a server module — that gives every quest NPC an AI-generated voice. Every desperate farmer, every grieving captain, every dying soldier with one last message to send home reads it to you. The breadth of coverage is remarkable: Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK quest dialogue, gossip text, and item flavor. You will not skim past the ones that matter.
Every spell, rank, and ability for your class is taught automatically as you level. No more running back to trainers. Your toolkit grows with you.
Grey vendor trash is automatically sold when you visit any merchant. Your bags stay clean without the click ritual after every dungeon run.
Loot every corpse in range with a single interaction. One click after a pull, everything is collected. The tedium is removed. The satisfaction remains.
Your hearthstone is always ready. Getting home is never a thirty-minute wait. If you need to leave, you leave. The world will still be here.
A permanent enchanting vendor can be spawned anywhere. Every enchant available, instantly, without finding a player enchanter willing to do it for you at 2am.
Hunter pets display at their correct visual size. Core Hounds look like Core Hounds. Cats look like cats. A small fix that matters more than it should.
Characters who disconnect or go linkdead are automatically revived if they died while offline. You will not log back in as a ghost with no one around to rez you.
